Bi-scones are the Best!

 I’d never heard of a bi-scone before, but think biscuit + scone=bi-scone = yum!

Recipe made as part of a 2 year pandemic discovery that trying new recipes can become discovering new traditions.

First confession, I live @JenniferGarner Yup! Her style, attitude and mostly recipe shares. So one day I saw this link (worth the watch) on her Facebook page and thought … Why Not?!

Turns out our house LOVES Bi-scones! Also, it’s becoming a weekly must bake! Favorite add in is chocolate chips of course, but I’ve also tried frozen blueberries and cranberry walnut.

Key tips- use cold butter! 🥶 Chip it up and throw it in the freezer!

  • use a lined cookie sheet that has a lip- or said butter may melt and run all over your oven
  • Don’t freak out if your bi-scones are swimming in butter when they leave the oven, let them set and soak it up
  • Cinnamon works great

Last tips- make these with the kids! Let them chop the butter and layer get messy hands and knead the butter into the flour. Let them eat the “extra” chocolate chips too!

An easy fun recipe from our home to yours.

Be Brave Mommas and try it- it could be your new favorite too!
